Agriculture and animal husbandry are the main sources of employment in the village, which has 214 hectares of pasture and 1,006 hectares of arable land. The main crop is wheat. Farm products are sold at the market. There are around 3620 heads of cattle, 1439 domesticated birds, 112 beehives.
In 2005 the community produced 1050 tons of wheat and around 150 tons of meat.
The village has 25 tractors of different capacities, 20 trucks, 9 ploughs, 5 harvesting combines, and 2 harvesting machines. All agricultural machinery is obsolete. The community needs wheat combines. Supply of fertilizers and seeds is scarce and irregular.
The early 20th century church has been partially renovated by the community but the roof and one of the walls need to be repaired.
