Economic Assessment

The community has no agricultural machinery and the relatively large pastures and arable lands are inefficiently used.
Animal husbandry is in decline.
Remoteness from main markets from is a serious constraint for the development.
The climate and the soil are favorable for farming and animal husbandry.
As in many rural communities, through introduction of new breeds and improvement of the local ones, the milk production will increase both in quantity and quality.
Setting up a dairy and a meat processing enterprise in would significantly increase the production.
The region has a number of carpet factories; possible expansion of the industry could create jobs for the local population.
