CLUSTERS: "Khashtarak Cluster"
Natural Gas

General Information: Thus far, there have not been any works undertaken in Khashtarak cluster to supply natural gas to the villages. For heating and other daily problems, the inhabitants are fully depended on electricity.

Further, the inhabitants of these villages are disorderly cutting down trees in nearby forests. Forest area maintenance is important on both the ecological and strategic fronts because if neglected, it leads to the tree mass thinning and inevitably to land slides.

Khashtarak
The community partly uses natural gas and 15% of population has it in their houses. It is hard to supply gas to the community because of the geographical settlement of the villagers and the uneven relief.

Ditavan
There has not been any work done in this community yet to supply natural gas to the villagers.

Aknaghbyur
There has not been any work done in this community yet to supply natural gas to the villagers.

Lusahovit
The community is not supplied with natural gas. A 4 km long gas pipe must be built in order to do this.

Lusadzor
The community is partly supplied with natural gas. 30 of 214 households, representing nearly 15% have natural gas in their households.
