General Information: Renovation and refurbishment of community centers according to modern standards is a key part of the social infrastructure component of the Rural Development Program. All the villages lack public locations where members of a community may gather for group activities, social support, public information and other purposes. The only gathering places are individual households, which cannot serve as a community uniting factor. To ensure the members of the communities have decent social life, the restored community centers are to include a library, an internet access point, etc.

Apaven

Current situation : The building of the community center is damaged beyond repair.

Solution : It is logically and financially feasible to establish a new 250-300 m 2 structure that would include both community administration and community center.

Dzyunashogh

Current situation : The community center is located in one story building (12x27 m). The building has hall and a library room. The building should be fully renovated.

Primary renovations : Building’s wooden roof should be replaced with a concrete roof. The floor, doors and windows should be renovated; reparation is needed on the heating system.

Area to be repaired : Total area of the building is 280 m 2.

Dzoramut

Current situation : The community center building was built in the 60s and is a stone two story building with the capacity of accommodating the community administration, the community center and the health care point. The building needs major reconstruction and planning modifications.

Primary renovations : The floors need to be replaced. The first story walls have been damaged by moisture and need to be water isolated. The roof of the building needs to be changed along with the doors and windows. The walls and the ceilings also need to undergo renovation. New sanitary units need to be installed along with a heating system for which a boiler room has to be built.

Gogavan

The community is located near Dzoramut village and the people can use the community center of this village.

Paghaghbyur

Current situation : The community center building was built in the 70s and is located in one story building (12.5 x21m). The main walls are in good condition. The building needs major reconstruction.

Primary renovations : The roof, wooden floor, doors and windows are in poor condition and need renovation. The building needs a heating system, internal and external renovation.

Area to be repaired : The total area of the building is around 220 m 2.
