Students on Himnadram  Watching TV of an evening I came across a touching story on a French Armenian student. “At his visit to Armenia the boy met a large family living in a bitter poverty at a remote village in Lori region. Filled with sympathy for the family who had sheltered in a trailer the boy decided to help them. He raised some money with the help of his friends and bought a house for that family.”It was an exciting story, and striking at the same time. I was touched, either by the family’s life, or the boy’s kind deed. The story made me think over the humane feelings and emotions that a modest student was full of. The boy’s generosity reflects his kind heart and vast soul. Benevolence is a feature that only a kind and compassionate person can be endowed with. I wish each of us had that feature. Benevolence is a good will that one can display in any circumstances and anytime. I do believe that helping people gives a person happiness and profound satisfaction, so I set a goal –TO HELP PEOPLE, as Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, a major charity organization does in my country. Syuzanna Grigoryan 9th grade student People come in different types and have different interests and goals. Nonetheless, they all have one thing in common, and it is what’s called humanism. I believe, it’s an act of kindness, and I am most happy to have become part of it. Every year, in April, students in our school organize a fundraising event and donate the raised funds to the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund. This institution is like a large family, where each member is full of sympathy to those in pain and suffering. Each member is sick with a disease called charity and the remedy applied for it is “Help those in need and life will reward you in return”. I belong in a country, which has overcome numerous challenges and owns today’s day. It was KINDNESS that made it possible. We, express our deepest gratitude to Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, which has made it possible for us to contribute our small donations to the Fund’s humanitarian projects. We are thankful to the Fund for its mission and the accomplishments that please the Lord and the Armenians all over the world. 12th grade student of the St.Zorian School N56 Lilit Maloyan Our young country turned 20. During these two decades, along with victories, we had ups and downs, deprivation and human losses. So strong is our desire though, to see our homeland strong, rebuilt and flourishing. For two decades now the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund’s activity has been directed to addressing the issues our country and supporting it as best as possible. Generous benefactors, charity organizations, as well as educational institutions, among them our school, do take part in this initiative directed towards the prosperity of the country. Starting from 1996, our school has been dedicated to the Fund’s activity and contributing to the numerous projects it carried out. During the last two years the Fund has been implementing projects of water supply network in the remote regions and villages of Artshakh, where water supply is critical. The projects were implemented with the slogan “A Gift of water, a gift of life.” Tomorrow’s day of our motherland is entrusted to us, and therefore, I address all my peers suggesting that they contribute to these projects. It is my wish that the Fund sees the bright end of the vital large-scale work it has launched, so that Armenia and Artsakh become strong and prospering. Will we see the day? I believe so. The day will surely come, but before it does, we have a long way to go. 8th grade student of the St.Zorian School N56 Hripsime Shahbazyan The Hayastan All-Armenan Fund’s activity has had a major importance for our homeland. For years, a great number of initiatives of vital importance have been carried out with funds donated towards projects in various spheres of life. In 1996 our school also joined this nation-wide initiative. The spark in the hearts of our students has united with the ones in the hearts of people, whose jointly efforts yield the necessary amount of money every year, with which a number major problems are solved across the country. We are the masters of our country, and only everyone’s contribution will make it possible to renovate it. It is amazing that many schools have joined this initiative already. More than once we have witnessed how the donated funds have been used usefully and appropriately. It fills us with enthusiasm to realize that we are part of a venture which benefits our nation.
