ABOUT US
The central executive body of the Fund is the Executive Board. The Executive Board consists of six departments, which manage and supervise the Fund's projects. The Executive Board being in permanent contact with the local committees, provides them with the materials necessary for the publicity and fund raising as well as informs about the course of implemented projects. Executive BoardThe Executive Board is accountable to the Board of Trustees. The Executive Director and Deputy Director are appointed by the Board of Trustees. Executive Director
Born on December 16, 1977 in Yerevan. From 1984 to 1994 he attended the secondary school N55 after Chekhov. From 1994 to 1995 he studied in Winterset High School in USA. From 1994 to 1999 he continued his studies at Yerevan State Institute of Foreign Languages and received a joint BA-MA degree in Political sciences and English language. In 1994 he joined the Lending and International department in Arminpexbank. In 1995 Mr. Ara Vardanyan took on the job of Executive Secretary in Sayboly International Company. In 1996 he took on the position of Deputy Director in Organization of Technical Assistance of Armenia. From 2000 to 2002 he worked in the Department of Cooperation with International Organizations (World Bank, USAID, UN etc) in the Ministry of Trade and Economic Development of Armenia. From 2002 to 2004 he worked as the Head of Division of Cooperation with European Commission in the Department of WTO and EC. From 2004 to 2006 he worked as the Head of Foreign Affairs Division in the Hayastan All Armenian Fund. From 2006 to 2008 he was the Deputy Director of the Fund. From July 1, 2008 to May 2009 Mr. Ara Vardanyan was the Acting Executive Director of the Hayastan All Armenian Fund. On May 19 he was appointed as the Executive Director. Married; has two children.
