With 700,000 donors worldwide, Hayastan All-Armenian Fund is among organizations most trusted by supportersOn November 1st, on the occasion of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund’s forthcoming annual Telethon, RA Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan visited the Fund’s headquarters in Yerevan. The Prime Minister was given a tour of the offices and familiarized with the Fund’s executive and administrative activities.
Ara Vardanyan, the Executive Director of the Fund, presented to the Prime Minister an overview of the organization’s work in the past 25 years, stating that more than 50,000 projects have been implemented to date, with a total investment of over $330 million. During his one-on-one conversation with the Prime Minister, Vardanyan also highlighted the Fund’s ongoing projects (16 projects currently being implemented in Armenia and 16 others in Artsakh), and detailed the preparations now underway in the run-up to the Telethon.
Before the conclusion of his visit, Prime Minister Karapetyan donated his annual salary to the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund.
The Fund’s Thanksgiving Day Telethon will be held on November 23. Proceeds from the event will be used for building irrigation and solar-energy infrastructures across Artsakh, within the framework of “Fruitful Artsakh,” the organization’s new flagship program.
