Antranik Baghdassarian, benefactor and industrialist (US): congratulations on the Hayastan Fund 25th anniversaryEver since the independence of Armenia and Artsakh and the formation of the Armenian armed forces, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has been the most important organization to rally worldwide Armenian support for the development of the homeland, and inspire a profound sense of belonging with regard to the twin Armenian republics and their prosperity.
Who, in 1992, could’ve imagined that the newly established Hayastan All-Armenian Fund would go on to carry out such enormous work in the ensuing 25 years, implementing hundreds of vital projects benefiting the economic, social, and cultural advancement of Armenia and Artsakh, and encompassing the spheres of humanitarian assistance, education, healthcare, community development, the arts, water and gas infrastructures, road-building, and agriculture, among others?
We owe all this to Armenians from across the globe, among them the Fund’s tireless staffs, generous benefactors, and enthusiastic volunteers, who, led by the noble motto and vision of Armenia-Artsakh-diaspora unity, have spared no effort to keep the organization’s mission alight.
Whenever I ask crews at the Fund’s construction sites why they do what they do, their answer conveys the same message: “We help develop the homeland to improve the lives of present and future generations.”
The mission carried out by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund in the past quarter century is the fulfillment of that core message, and a testament to the fact that the organization’s achievements are the result of conscientious, consistent, and resolutely united work.
Glory to all those who have conceived the idea of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, and all those who have turned it into a magnificent reality.
