The Board of Trustees and local bodies of the Hayastan Fund held the 25th joint session
Today, at the Reception House of the Government of Armenia there took place the 25th joint session of the Board of Trustees and local bodies of the Hayastan Fund, which was presided over by the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.

Before taking up the agenda items, the participants of the meeting with a moment of silence paid tribute to the former member of the Board of Trustees, recently departed Catholic Catholicos-Patriarch of Cilicia Nerses Petros XIX.

In the framework of the agenda, the Executive Director of the All-Armenian Hayastan fund Ara Vardanian presented a report of the Executive Board of the Fund on the works carried out in 2015. At the conclusion of his statement, the participants of the meeting watched a video about the activities of the Fund. The Council accepted the report and took the note the control report presented by the Control Committee. The report was presented by the member of the Control Commission Ara Aslan and representative of the Grand Thornton Auditing Organizations Emil Vassilian.

The next item on the agenda – the purpose behind the Marathon-2016 of the All-Armenian Hayastan Fund was introduced by the President of Nagorno Karabakh Bako Sahakian. After the report of the President of Artsakh, there took place a discussion during which the members of the Board of Trustees of the Fund and representatives of the local bodies presented their views and proposals, which will be summarized by the Executive Board. The Board unanimously adopted the report on the purpose of the Marathon-2016.
