French-Armenian community also plans to donate urgently needed medicinesThe Hayastan All-Armenian Fund’s French affiliate has donated two ambulances to the Health Ministry of Nagorno Karabakh.
“The French-Armenian community is committed to helping Artsakh address its urgent needs,” said Bedros Terzian, chairman of the fund’s French affiliate. “Currently we’re working on the shipment of a large quantity of medicines to Artsakh. We also plan on helping rebuild infrastructures that were damaged during the Azeri attack in April.”
In recent days, Terzian joined Hayastan All-Armenian Fund executive director Ara Vardanyan on a fact-finding visit to Artsakh, for an assessment of the urgent healthcare needs of the republic. Within the framework of their visit, Terzian and Vardanyan also met with the president and the prime minister of Nagorno Karabakh.
On April 4, following the large-scale Azeri offensive against Artsakh in the early hours of April 2, which resulted in considerable destruction and human losses, the fund’s French affiliate announced that it was providing the republic with 45 million AMD in emergency relief.
