Benefactor Varuzhan Grigoryan donates $100,000 to Hayastan Fund TelethonIndustrialist Varuzhan Grigoryan of Armenia is contributing $100,000 to a special program that will provide housing to families with five or more children in Nagorno Karabakh. The program is the flagship initiative of this year’s Hayastan Fund Telethon.
In recent years, Grigoryan has collaborated with Hayastan Fund to initiate and sponsor a string of infrastructure and community-development projects in the homeland. They include the construction of the new school of Chapar, a viillage, in Nagorno Karabakh’s Martakert Region. The state-of-the-art campus opened its doors in 2014.
The Hayastan Fund Telethon will air for 12 hours on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, beginning at 10 AM Pacific Standard Time.
