Hayastan All-Armenian Fund continues to provide assistance to schools in ArmeniaIn addition to implementing numerous infrastructure projects in Armenia and Artsakh, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund continues to provide significant support to schools in both republics. During the course of 2013, the fund carried out school-furniture and other assistance initiatives for close to 20 educational institutions in Armenia alone.
Through the sponsorship of its French affiliate, the fund completely or partially furnished the No. 5 School of Ijevan (Tavush Region), the No. 2 School of Charentsavan (Kotayk Region), the schools of the Haghartsin and Teghut villages (Tavush Region), the Municipal Sports Academy of Armavir (Armavir Region), and the No. 10 Kindergarten of the same locale.
Through its Argentinean affiliate and financial support of benefactor Nshan Devejian, the fund completely furnished and provided computer systems to the School of Bavra Village (Shirak Region).
With the financial assistance of the Greek-Armenian community, the fund provided kitchen furniture and appliances to the No. 30 Kindergarten of Vanadzor (Lori Region). Also with the financial support of the Greek-Armenian community, in recent years the fund has donated furniture to the kindergarten, renovated its playground, and provided it with a pavilion and play equipment.
With assistance from Australian affiliate the Fund provided furniture to Yerevan Chaikovsky music school.
Through the sponsorship of its Swedish affiliate, the fund donated musical instruments and audiovisual equipment to Yerevan's Avet Terteryan Art School.
With the support of the Armenian community of Great Britain, the fund donated school bags and other school supplies to 55 students of the school of Arin Village (Vayots Dzor Region).
Also with the financial support of various affiliates, in 2013 the fund established computer rooms in several educational institutions in the homeland, including the National Library of Armenia and the Mary Izmirlian Orphanage, both in Yerevan and Lusagyugh village /Armavir/ school. download Western Armenian version
