Hayastan All-Armenian Fund delegation continues to visit project sites in ArmeniaOn May 27, a large delegation of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund visited project sites in Armenia’s Shirak Region, as part of activities connected to the fund’s annual Board of Trustees meeting.
The delegation visited the construction sites of a community center and a school in the villages of Bavra and Ashotsk, respectively.
The Hayastan All-Armenian Fund is building Bavra’s community center with the sponsorship of benefactor Nshan Devejian of Argentina. The future facility will house the mayor’s office, an events hall, a computer room, and a library.
The future school of Ashotsk, designed to accommodate 360 students, is being constructed with the sponsorship of the fund’s French affiliate.
The delegation also visited the Children’s Home of Gyumri. The fund has carried out an extensive renovation of the orphanage’s two wings. The project was sponsored by the fund’s German affiliate, through the financial support of longtime benefactors Mr. and Mrs. Hamo and Tamar Gregorian.download Western Armenian version
