On March 2, a celebration dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund took place at The Four Seasons Hotel in London. The Primate of the Great Britain Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Natan Hovanissian, the Funds Executive Director Vahan Ter-Ghevondian, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Great Britain Vahram Abadjian, representatives of the community organizations, and about 250 Armenians living in Britain were present at the ceremony.

On December 26, the Polyclinic in the town of Tashir reconstructed by co-financing of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund and the Armenian Social Investment Fund was inaugurated.

The RA President Award was designed in 2000 by the Robert Boghossyan and Sons Fund

On October 31, the North-South highways Karmir Shouka-Drakhtik 10 km section, connecting Martuni and Hadrout regions, was put into operation. NKR Prime Minister Anushavan Danielyan, Hayastan Funds Executive Director Vahan Ter-Ghevondyan, NKR Government officials and regional authorities were present at the opening ceremony.

In November 2000, for the first time in its practice, the Hayastan All-Armenian Funds local committee of France conducted a phone marathon which was a novelty not only for the Fund but also for the diaspora in general.

At the conference held on June 1-4, 2001 in Bonn, the Forum of Armenian Unions of Europe made a decision to declare May 9 the Day of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh in Europe and appealed to all its member unions and communities as well as all the Armenian communities of Europe to organize various events that day. The revenues received from the events were decided to direct to Nagorno Karabakh.

A few days ago a specialized auditorium, was opened in the French University of Armenia. The project has been sponsored by the French-Armenian benefactor Senekerim Zekian in memory of his late wife Paul Zekian

On September 28, the inauguration of the Dashboulagh-Kichan 20 km section of the North-South Highway took place in Askeran Region of NKR. The project is implemented by the Hayastan All-armenian Fund.

On September 28, the water main for the Seghnakh village in Askeran Region of NKR was put into operation. At the inauguration ceremony the Prime Minister of NKR Anoushavan Danielian, Executive Director of the Fund Vahan Ter-Ghevondian, cashier of the German Local Committee of the Fund Rouben Vassilian, Diasporan benefactors, and representatives of mass-media were present

Being destroyed by the earthquake of 1988 the secondary school N1 in Vanadzor hasnt been operating for more than ten years. Due to the donations of the Armenian community of the USA East Coast it became possible to strengthen and basically reconstruct the 60-year old building.
The project costs 480 000 USD. The construction has been carried out by the Kanaka company of Vanadzor.
