Kristin and Hovsep Tahtas, Armenian benefactors from Argentina have donated $2100 to the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund.

The Armenian Relief Society, the AGBU and the Armenian Assembly of America, which as members of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Board of Trustees had an active participation in the Telethon 2004 will have representatives in the Tender Committee of the Fund and will take part in the coming five tenders announced for the construction of the North-South highway.

By the suggestion of the RA President the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund implemented a gasification project in Sevan.

Argentinian Armenian Eduardo Ernekian recently allocated another 300,000 dollars to the "Hayastan" ("Armenia") Pan-Armenian Foundation for the construction of the North-South higwhay of Artsakh. Naira Melkumian, the Executive Director of the Foundation, told journalists about it on December 21. New York: Armenia Funds Fundraising Efforts Result in Unprecedented Success for Telethon 2004

Eduardo Eurnekian, the Armenian donor from Argentina has increased his donation made during the Hayastan Funds annual Telethon.

Hayastan Fund was the sponsor of the competition where Armenian students and pupils presented their hand made toys. This beautiful event was initiated by the Zard NGO.

The fundraising is still going on in France. During the last several days another 10,000 Euros have been collected as a result of the Phonethon, in addition to the 800,000 Euros already raised

Naira Melkumian, executive director of "Armenia" Pan-Armenian Fund is sure that Artsakh remains the most sensitive spot for the Armenian nation. According to Mrs. Melkumian the results of the telethon held to assemble money for Nagorno Karabakhs strategic North-South highway "unprecedented". The sum gathered reaches $11 million.
