The President Prize 2006 awarding ceremony took place at the Residence of the Armenian President on June 18, 2007. The President Kocharian presented the nominees with prizes.

Today only 10 out of the 650 Armenian churches on the territory of Georgia are functioning. There is mention that in the capital Tbilisi alone there were 41 Armenian churches dating back to different centuries. In the early 1920s, only 26 were acting churches, whereas today that number has come down to two.

In February 2007 major reconstruction works started in the kindergarten of the Mrgashen village in Kotayk marz. Through the sponsorship of the French local committee of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund (donors Anahit and Varujan Tcheugurians) construction works of 58 million AMD will be carried out in the kindergarten.

In April 2007, renovations of the sanitary units of the second block of the Yerevan N1 Elderly Home were completed. The project was accomplished by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund US East Coast Affiliate

The reconstruction of the second block of the Nork Hospital for Infectious Diseases is underway. Before the end of the year the second and third floors and the roof of the building will be renovated, a boiler house will be constructed and heating system will be installed. The second block of the Nork hospital with its laboratories and five units attend as many as 3000 patients a year. The project has been sponsored by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Brazil affiliate
