Arkadi Ghukasyan, Ex-president of Nagorno Karabakh Republic: congratulations on the Hayastan Fund 25th anniversary
Posted on March 02, 2017
The launch of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund a quarter century ago, in a time of great turmoil, was a historic imperative, as the Fund joined forces with organizations and individuals from across the globe to provide vital assistance to our homeland.

An equally important mission of the Fund was to function as a conduit for bringing together the worldwide Armenian community, and fostering collaboration between organizations and individual benefactors, in support of the homeland.

That mission became a wonderful reality. Thanks to the Fund, there emerged a permanent platform for cooperation and synergy between Armenia, Artsakh, and the diaspora, through which pan-national priorities have been defined and agendas have been set, and, accordingly, an enormous array of development projects have been carried out during the past quarter century.

In the course of the past 25 years, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund — which is a unique structure in Armenian reality — has helped rebuild war-torn Artsakh, breathed new life into scores of border communities in Armenia, and helped rebuild cities, towns, and villages devastated by the 1988 earthquake.

I wholeheartedly congratulate the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund on its 25th anniversary, and wish it ever-newer successes in its weighty work of overcoming the challenges which face the Armenian nation and its homeland.
