This project has three stages.
Parakar community is located in the Armavir province of Armenia. There are 6,907 inhabitants in the community. Parakar community was established in 1831.

The building of Parakar Art School was initially designed and constructed as a hotel. However, it never serves its purpose, and was in 1985 given to the Art School. There are 160 pupils studying arts, music, etc. currently attending the School. Besides pupils from the Parakar itself, there are attendants from the nearby communities as well.

1)The school consists of two blocks – on two storey block and the other one-storey block. Both blocks were damaged after the earthquake of 1988. Since that the school was moved to the two-storey block and the other one was gradually destroyed. However, during the recent renovation it becomes evident that the used block is also not safe from the seismic point of view. Under the project the one-storey building of the Parakar Art School was fully reconstructed.
