March 3, 2010 marks the 18th anniversary of the establishment of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund.

In 1992, with a decree signed by the president of the Republic of Armenia, the fund was launched officially, “with the goal of consolidating the resources of the worldwide Armenian community for the development and strengthening of Armenian statehood.”

Ever since that year, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has implemented an extensive range of projects that are of vital importance to the Armenian homeland.

Today the generous support of the worldwide Armenian community continues to help improve the lives of thousands in Armenia and Artsakh by securing housing, water, heating, electricity, new roads, improved schools and healthcare facilities, community centers, and economic opportunities in rural areas. The fund’s 18 affiliates across the globe have had an invaluable role in the initiation and realization of its diverse projects.

“On behalf of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, I convey my deepest gratitude and heartfelt congratulations to all our compatriots and benefactors across the Diaspora, Armenia, and Artsakh, whose financial contributions and tireless volunteer work have made the mission of the fund possible,” said Ara Vardanyan, executive director of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund.

In the past 18 year, the fund has implemented over $200 million worth of projects in Armenia and Artsakh with the financial support of more than 300,000 donors. The fund’s completed projects to date include:
