On October 28, the tenth anniversary of the President’s Prize was marked with the opening of a three-day exhibition-sale, held at the Exhibition Hall of the Painters’ Union of Armenia, in Yerevan.

The event features artworks by the 18 winners of the President’s Prize in various arts categories during the last ten years. The works comprise paintings, photographs, and sculptures, including award-winning entries.

In his welcoming remarks, Ara Vardanyan, executive director of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, commented on the outstanding quality of the artworks and expressed hope that such events will be organized more often.

The exhibition was attended by many dignitaries including President Serzh Sargsyan, Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan, and ambassadors and other representatives of foreign states.

“During these ten years of the President’s Prize, I’ve had the opportunity to meet numerous talented young people, many of whom have gone on to garner acclaim in various fields of art,” said Aida Khachikyan, advisor to the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund executive director and coordinator of the President’s Prize. “Working with them has been a highly rewarding experience for everyone involved. I wish all of our young artists many more achievements.”
The exhibition also served as an opportunity for Ara Vardanyan to express the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund’s profound gratitude to the Boghossian family, for its longtime and invaluable support of the fund’s infrastructure-development and cultural projects.

The President’s Prize was established by Boghossian foundation, aiming to promote excellence in the Armenian arts and sciences. Administered by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, the juried annual prize rewards exceptional accomplishments in a broad spectrum of fields.
