With support from the Armenian community of Great Britain, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has donated school bags and other school supplies to 55 students of the school of Arin, a village in Armenia’s Vayots Dzor Region.

During the past decade, the fund’s British affiliate has provided assistance to more than 2,000 elementary and secondary-school students in the regions of Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Aragadzotn, and Vayots Dzor, in addition to sponsoring major educational and healthcare projects throughout the homeland.
Commenting on this latest contribution, Armine Karapeti, chair of the fund’s British affiliate, said that helping ease the financial burden of parents of schoolchildren in Arin Village is a matter of not only practical but also moral support.
